Should I have to constantly re-scan my DAB radio in my Octavia?? Its retains some stations (Talk Sport, Radio 1, 5 Live, etc) but loses others (Absolute 80's, 90's etc)

 

It's proper annoying  as rescanning can take 5- 10 mins by the time its loaded all known stations!!

 

Am I missing something here??

Are you storing the stations that normally listen to?

I never have to scan mine as it does it automatically, so if I go to another town or city I always have the local ones in the list and the national ones remain, of course. I have an MIB1 Columbus, but you don't say what you have.

I have the Amundsen system. The channels are there - but the radio fails to pick them up - even the preset ones. I'm always getting the 'signal not received' symbol and the only way to get the station back is to run a scan
