What is this maxidot menu for?

Featured Replies

Anybody know what this menu is for in the maxidot, when scrolling through the right-hand-side scroll wheel?

Everything else has the expected options to scroll through and select what you want displaying in the maxidot, but this just comes up with No Entries Available.

Is it something that is used in other VAG cars, but not Skoda?

My 2016 RS is fully optioned, except the black-pack, which was just exterior aesthetic mods, wheels, trims, etc - nothing electronic.

I can't find anything within the infotainment (Columbus) settings that isn't selected to display something.... so I'm stumped what could possibly be missing from this menu?

I have same thing, could be tire pressure monitor if you haven't set that up yet? (not set mine yet but will check tomorrow)

Didn't think there was anything to set up for TPM?

It's inside the infotainment, and each time I check the air in the tyres, I have to reset the button.

I admit, I haven't done that yet, as I assume it was done at the dealership before delivery, but I'll give it a go today and see what happens.

I think that menu will show fault messages if you have any. Try checking it when you get a low washerfluid message.

Car status menu, so yes, normal.  :sun:

If you look at the Car settings on the Radio you'll see the same thing.

I had a tyre pressure warning come up this morning and aside from the amber light on the dash, a warning was also shown in the 'vehicle' menu on the maxidot.

Test it - turn off the traction control and then you should see that alert appear in that menu page....

Yep - thanks everyone for responding.

I can confirm it's for displaying error messages in the maxidot.... ones that aren't serious enough for a CEL.

eg: low fuel, or the traffic-sign recognition error messages that I've managed to install, when enabling the TSR settings !
