Hello all Briskoda members

Well, this decision is not easy for me because I have had this car since May 2016 and I really enjoyed and definitely I would not sell it so early. But due to the fact that my life circumstances will change in the near future and I will need to buy more economical car I have decided to offer my beloved VRS for sale.

It's 2008 year model, petrol, blue race, date of first used is 22th of December 2008, BWA engine. Actual millage is a bit over 131 600 miles and will slightly grow up due to daily commuting to the work. I'm 2nd owner. Previous owner was gentleman in middle age and had this car since new. From previous owner I have full service history booklet (mainly from Skoda dealer) plus a lot of service receipts. Timing belt with tensioner were done at 81 853 miles on 7.12.2012 so it's due to replace next year!! In case of interest I can send photo of documentation.

After I've bought VRS I've done two services. First service contain health check, oil service with oil filter, replaced pollen filter and for peace of mind I replaced Cam follower (can be supplied with car as a proof). The second service covered fixing of service advisories from the first service: Front discs and pads, rear shock, rear bump stop, brake fluid exchange and AC service. All labourer were done by local VAG-TECH specialist. They are also official provider of REVO tuning company for VW, Audi group so I believed they know what cars needs. Car is fitted with two brand new tyres in the front.

MOT has been done on 3.12.2016 with no advisories at Skoda Milton Keynes. HPI is clear.

Bodywork is in good condition. It's not show car so it has some scratches (photo). The wheels have some kerbs scratches done by previous owner so would be nice to do refurbishment. Technically is without fault. Engine has been always warmed up properly before I've used all rev spectrum. And of course calmed down after ride. Gearbox is solid, gear changes are smooth. Interior is nice and clear without main scratches.

- 6 speed manual gearbox

- ABS\ESP
- Manual 6 gear
- Dual zone climatronic
- Cruise control
- Maxi dot
- 4 airbags
- Original MP3 player with changer for 6CD in boot, In socket for external devices.
- VRS seats
- Electric windows, electric heated mirrors
- Height adjustable driver's and passenger seat etc...

Timing belt is every 4 years on these not 5,ive just traded mine in & it was due its 2nd belt change.

I asked for timing belt check during health check after purchase. For the condition of timing belt its not necessary to do it this year. Of course potential buyer can do replacement straight away after purchase and it can be subject to discuss the price.

 

The official skoda manual says every 180 000 km.

Skoda uk say every 4 years,but as your happy to discuss the price its not a issue,tidy car (apart from the wheels  ) exactly the same as mine which ive recently traded (mine was lower mileage) im sure you will sell it as its the best colour for the vrs & there isnt a lot of petrol ones around,the garage that sold my old one sold it within 2 days of advertising it. 

Thanks, yeah wheels would need refurbishment... I was planning to do it but how I was said my situation push me to put for sale...

My word these are getting cheap. I recently looked at a Mk 1 vRS that was advertised at more money!
