Added some extra boot lighting

Featured Replies

I've added some additional boot lighting to our estate. The one light (which had an LED put in it) was never quite in the right place. So on Sunday night I decided to add some LED light strip:

I removed the LED from the bulb holder, solder wires onto the bulb holder contacts, drilled a 4mm hole in the plastic and based the wires through. I have then soldered on the wires and attached to the side of the car. I have just duct taped the wire in place for the time being till I can work out a better method. I may add another strip the other side.

For the next month or so, why not a multi-colored Santa, sleigh and reindeer in the rear window?

Which LED strip did you use ?
