Rear lights query

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

A friend of mine happened to be behind my car in traffic early this morning and he reckons that the park lights on one side of the car are not as bright as the other side of the car.

Has anyone every heard of this.

Maybe one side had weaker wattage bulbs fitted?

Could be a poor connection, somewhere. I had an issue withe rear tail / fog lamp, traced fault to a rusty contact in the lamp body, a clean up and change of bulb , sorted.

Your bulbs have probably aged and blackened on a 2009 car :)

Inspect the four W5W (might be W3W?) bulbs and replace all if needed. Probably worth checking the other bulbs in the cluster too as I expect the orange might be flaking off the indicators too!

Thanks for the reply guys. Seems like it should be a simple enough fix. Might just pop down to GSF and get all new bulbs as I think they have a 48% off sale.
