Heated seat problem

Featured Replies

I have a 2012 Superb eith heated seats with alcantara, if i turn on the heat at level 3 on both of the seats it took half an hour to warm up and it's not very warm! Anybody knows why? Can i adjust the heat on VCDS?

To ask perhaps a silly question. Were you sat in either of them at the time or just switching them on to see how hot they got?

If you were not sat in either one then they do appear to take a long time but when you are sat in a seat you are pressing down the contact to the element (in my case a lot of pressing down :D ) and you should feel the benefit within a few minutes. This will depend on how cold it is as the heating elements will take time for the heat to spread through the cold materials to warm them up.
