My interior lights, both front and rear, have suddenly stopped coming on when any of the doors are opened.

 

They do however all work fine if I manually switch them on/off. Anyone have any ideas please?

 

Did wonder about a door switch maybe being at fault but would this affect all four doors?

Assuming it's not the switch position then maybe there is a wire broken in to the lead door controller in the drivers door. Bit of a guess on my part but easy to check for a break in the grommet between door and pillar, as there is potential weakness there.

Alternatively do you have maxidot and if so does the picture show doors open when they are each opened? If not this would suggest doors opening is not being detected, then you would need to discover why.
