Hi

Ive found a nice Black 02 vRS with 60,000mls on the clock, its perfect nic and up for

If it's a private sale it sounds a little high to me but not way over the top. I paid about

i've been keeping a keen on on prices also and i would say too high for private sale. However you do have consider about how well kept and maintained the car is and also the distance is a factor also. Is there much point going to see the same standard car for 1k less the other end of the country only to find it's been ragged silly. It'll just be a case of you get what you pay for.

I got one for 6.5K in a main dealer with 42k on the clock. Its a 2001. So that one sound too expensive to me:rolleyes:

Hi

Sorry forgot to add, its from a Dealer (not skoda main), and im PX'ing my car, so he wont budge on the price as im PX'ing, but its the closest one to me without serious mileage, there is one with over 100,000mls for £5,000!! good price, but would worry about the mileage, so going for less miles.

The car im looking at is 60mls away, there is that silver one i mentioned, which sounds better price wise, but that is about 140mls away, which is too far for me, and pref black.

Personally i think when a petrol hits 100,000 it's not worth owning. Your problems are going to treble. I just don't understand how someone would expect 5 grand for a car like that! 3.5 -4k is the most i would consider paying for that! Even if you pay for a new engine the other mechanics have traveled 100k with it!

Good luck with your viewing. btw.

I`ve just bought a Yellow ( mmmm ) 02 plate with 30,000 on the clock for 6900 private and it`s immac one lady owner serviced every year from new as she was`nt getting 10,000 mls ayear so I think that was a bargain. What`s everyone`s view on that

Bargain Ali!

Hold out for a decent one i say.
