Taking the dash apart?

Featured Replies

Is there a good guide for how to access parts of the dash?

I'm looking to route the cable to the aux socket tidily and I'd rather not start pushing and prodding until i know what I'm up to.

If you can't find this you might want to try what I did. Just above the drivers knees under the fascia is a bracing rod that goes right across. I used this to route a dashcam cable fixed with a couple of cable ties.

If you're stuck PM me, I don't know how to get the whole dash out, but do know how to pull off a few trims to gain access under the radio

Why not share it to all?

Can do :D just thought it would've been easier to discuss via a pm :)

I'll PM when I get a chance to work on the car

And then post up the results
