Numberplate bulb holder

Featured Replies

I removed one of my numberplate bulb holder to replace the bulb and with it now refitted it is loose.

Anyone that this problem? Had a look up close and dont think ive broken anything

Has it got a metal clip at one end? Try bending that out slightly to increase the tension when refitted.

Noticed today it is still loose. I havent noticed that there was some kind of double sided tape factory fitted. Has anyone done this?

It should have a foam gasket (not double sided tape)

I agree with bending the spring clip out slightly.

If it is a festoon bulb there are two lengths available. I've had that problem myself. Take the old bulb with you to check against the new one before purchase.

No its not the festoon type its 501 bulb

Does anyone have a pic of the way the metal clip is meant to sit?
