Some useful information - shorter drop links - various stock sizes

Featured Replies

Having done some research I have found a few cars with varying length drop links so that you can choose a stock item rather than pay the extra for a 'performance' part when lowering your car.

133mm Hyundai coupe REAR

140mm Citroen c5 08 /Toyota avensis 97/03 / Peugeot 407 rear

145mm Alfa Romeo 166 front

160mm Peugeot 406 rear

165mm Toyota Camry 91-01 rear

180mm Alfa 147/156/GT / Hyundai Sonta Rear

190mm Mazda premacy / 323 front

217mm Chevrolet / Daewoo lacetti REAR

230mm e36 m3 front

235mm Toyota Camry 01 - Rear

238mm Ford Focus front / e30 front

250mm mondeo mk3 front

You can choose from any of these stock options from other cars to get your desired length :)

Are they all with the ends the right way as a lot of cars have them 90° or 180°apart rather than same side

And what's the standard length, would be good to start with that and work down for those than only fit 20mm springs for example.

Great bit of research though!

Are you sure it was your research? Looks familiar, that list.

Been looking for a long time now. Found this list on another forum. Mini forum I believe :)

270mm apparently, I've been trying to find 245mm ones for weeks as my brand new drop links are destroyed already. Lasted about 3 weeks on these poxy roads

Apparently the corsa C drop links are 245mm but I refuse to have anything Corsa related on my VRs... feels like a betrayal ;)
