Just became a proud owner of a 2011 Skoda Superb Elegance 3T 125TDI. Have no clue what I have got myself into as I am a BMW person moving into the VAG world.

 

Been reading the forums and find myself really confused as the terms used between the two car makes particularly coding/retrofits/features section are completely different.

 

I look forward to learning and as a first step even understanding what I currently have in my car would be a good start. I already have the following questions and I am hoping to find some answers :-

 

1) I noticed I have a Columbus Head Unit and a VW Bluetooth module. Pressing the Phone button on the Columbus just mutes the radio. No phonebook or A2DP etc features available and definitely nothing shown on my LCD Panel in the cluster (I believe this is called Maxidot??)

 

2) What is the difference between MFA and MFA+ and how do I tell what I have in my car?

 

I am sure I will have further questions down the road, but would love to hear from anyone who can help
