Hi, can anyone recommend a good Windows download for a workshop manual? Even if it costs money.

The information is not bad, it is free unless you choose to donate. It is a bit of a nightmare to navigate sometimes though due to the coverage of the many engine variants and the fact that none of the internal links to other chapters or sequences seem to work for me. I'm not sure if you pay something, if the links then start to work.....it would make it a lot better if it did.

 

I also found a VW training manual in pdf on the US version of the engine a while back. It shows and explains major engine components and design, but is not a repair manual. I could dig it out if you want, but it probably isn't what you want if you want "how to"...

Seems like a good manual but it costs a tenner to download, then you have to download WMware player too but they step you through the process.
