Hi dudes ...

As I have installed tasty fog lamps, Philips Ultinon H8 LED I would like to use them for DRL instead of those ugly yellow H15 on low power.

Any one tried to code it and can verify the below coding. I’m not a VCDS shark but can manage to the most if I’m sure of the coding.

The below is found in this forum.

Foglights as DRLs

Controller 09 - Central Electronics
16 - Security Access - enter 31347
10 - Adaptations
I haven't tested this, but I am assuming your front foglights are also coded as cornering lights. This means we have to assign a 3rd function to the front fogs. If you haven't coded cornering fogs then look at the post for the cornering fogs and set the values of function B to Tagfahrlicht (Daytime Running Lights).
The following channels need changing to a value of 'Tagfahrlicht' (Daytime Running Light)
(8)-Leuchte12NL LB45-Lichtfunktion C 12) from not active  to Daytime running lights
(8)-Leuchte13NL RB5-Lichtfunktion C 13) from not active  to Daytime running lights

The following 2 channels need to be changed to a value of 100
(10)-Leuchte12NL LB45-Dimmwert CD 12) from 0  to 100
(10)-Leuchte13NL RB5-Dimmwert CD 13) from 0  to 100

How to disable the DRLs on non-Xenon cars

I'm fairly sure the adaptation to disable the DRL for non xenon cars is in the VCDS sticky at the top.
