Central locking key fob not really working

Featured Replies

My key fob only unlocks the drivers door. This is a setting i believe and other doors open when one puts key in ignition. However after the car is unlocked like this, the fob will lock all doors...except the drivers door which has ro be done manually. Whats wrong???

If one unlicks all doors using a switch in the car, then fob can lock all doors as normal. Any help alpreciated

Double press button on fob and see if it unlocks all doors, as car may be set to only unlock drivers door on single press of fob. Not sure why it is unlocking remainder of doors when putting key in ignition as never heard of this - taking keys out of ignition unlocks door if set to lock above 15kph. If double press works to unlock all, try locking with fob to see if all doors lock. There are known problems with broken wires in loom to door.

I am sorry I do not provide a solution, yet I am having issues with my Roomster's driver's lock (LHD) . This is my thread http://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/420146-drivers-door-lock-in-left-hand-drive/

So I am taking advantage of your kindness to 'hijack' your thread and place my question here as well. Do the Fabia door lock will fit in Roomster too?

Season's greetings to all of you.
