Hello,

I'm new to the vag world and own a 2004 fabia vrs

Stage 1 running 185bhp and 320ft/lbs

Lastnight driving home I lost all boost and seems the turbo is making a loud whistling noise!

I have a hardpipe upgrade with dark side pipes

Plugged it in and there are no fault codes

Been told could possibly be actuator stuck?

Maybe worth looking in one of the other threads you already started?

" the turbo is making a loud whistling noise!" - Well, I'd check for boost leaks before doing anything else!

Sounds like your turbo may have blown, whip off the TIP and take a look, alternatively check none of your pipes have come adrift.

 

185 BHP is far too much for the standard turbo, 170 BHP is more realistic.

Checked all pipes all are fine

It's been at 185bhp for 8 years with no problems
