Aerial Lead

Featured Replies

I recently purchased a Skoda CitoGo Sport that had no radio reception. I have removed the Funky CD/Radio and have found that someone has had a poke around in there before me (Looks like it might have had another aftermarket unit installed badly before it was returned back to stock prior to selling) and disconnected the aerial but I cannot find the aerial lead anywhere to re-reconnect.

Does anyone know where the aerial lead from the roof mounted aerial comes into the car? I don't want to remove lots of trim unnecessarily.

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Early Citigos were prone to failure of the aerial base (IIRC it has an amplifier built in). Many replaced under warranty.

Will have fallen down into the dash, towards the drivers side of the centre console most likely

Still struggling to find the aerial lead, Anybody know if the lead comes down a particular side of the A pillar? I might then be able to trace it.

Think it may go down the drivers side pillar, they are easy to remove so give it a go.

Still struggling to find the aerial and now I am unable to put the stereo back in as the connector block doesn't seem to want to go back into the recess. Don't give you much space to work.

Came across this problem with @Hyphons when we did his stereo. We ended up threading a bit of 6491x cable down the dash and twisting it around up top, so someone in the footwell could pull the cables out of the way as the stereo was pulled back. It's still there to this day lol
