Avensis to Octavia

Featured Replies

Hi All

Just thought I would follow-on from a similar title used earlier.

I had a good but 8yr old Avensis tourer and a change to self-employment meant I sometimes need the capability of a van to carry longer timber, pipe etc but could not justify the cost of running a car and a van.

After looking at various estate cars, the Octavia SE Estate with 'fold-flat front seat' and VLBF options fitted the bill perfectly. No longer am I balancing timber across the top of the seats hoping that the seat belt will hold it on roundabouts

Brilliant capability and the technology on the car is a quantum leap from the Avensis.

I obtained some helpful hints from reading the forum prior to purchase and will try to update relevant threads from my experiences in due course.

Thanks All

Hello HA :hi:

Pleasantly surprised to see a change from an Avensis being a quantum leap.  We've had three Avensii in the family and they've all been stonking good cars.
