Hi all, this is my 1st Octavia, I've owned Volvo's for 6 years and Mondeo's etc before that. I have to say that so far I'm quite impressed, I like the driving position and find the drivers seat more comfortable than my last V70.

There are a few issues which I'll be seeking from the extensive forum's in briskoda in due course.

Me too, the V40 i had prior to the V70 was great, hey ho. Like i said before, my 1st impressions with the Octavia a pretty good, when the rain stops I'll spend some one on one time with it.

Welcome Jerry, interesting comment alright on the seats. Says a lot about Skoda!
