You can in Disabled or Parent / Child parking bays.  No disability or child required apparently.

Whichever space you choose at the supermarket, one end of the truck is going to block the road :)

But no more than all these lovely Motor Homes that seem to frequent supermarket car parks and other places were i do my shopping, you just use 2 parking spaces, and the disabled bays leave a nice crosshatch area as well at the road ends.

When we watch U.K. programmes showing pretty countryside and towns, we always say 'but can you get a park' ?.

Park n ride seems to be the result for popular destinations .
