Is it worth while getting 2 wheels from scrap yard or refurb instead whats the cost involved.has any one got 2 audi tt rims same as in my profile pic 17 inch 9 spoke?????

140 pounds for 2 powder coated , I would not buy from a scrappers they could be bent

Scrap yard wheels could have been involved in a accident and not be safe to use on the road.

The wheel guy at work charges £50 a wheel to fill and kerbing marks and spray. For powder coating its roughly £75 a wheel.

I had all four of the standard vRS alloys re-furbed on the mrs' car last year at a place in Sheffield for £260. Had them powder-coated in a standard OEM style silver.

 

The place had good reviews and the wheels looked perfect afterwards and still did when we sold the car a couple of months ago.

City Powdercoating in Brum charge £20 per wheel to blast/dip and powder coat.

The finish is not always consistently bang on but for the price it's a bargain :)
