I am 99% confident that I did not register this as I can't find anything in my email client archive from Ross-Tech nor do I recall filling out the registration form (I didn't need to but if the buyer wants tech support I will register with their details before transaction and despatch to confirm there's no issue - and reduce price by £80 if it transpires I had indeed registered it meaning the new owner must pay the $99 for tech support).
