Police able to read your ECU?

Featured Replies

That case about the Scooby V The MG ZS where the ZS pilot crashed and was killed. I Pin no medels on the Scooby pilot, 140 MPH and with 2 KIDS in the BACK!

However everyone is stumped to just how they read his ECU, as i understand it the device reads data for a short peroid than re-write its self like a "Black Box"?

Cheers

Did they read his ECU, or did he have a device like a SECS fitted, a fairly popular mod on scoob's, I had one on mine and it records V-Max etc etc

AFAIK the airbag controller records top speed etc.. as this has been used in cases in the US.
