Skoda private plates

Featured Replies

Never really wanted a private or customised plate that much but have the odd poke aroud on the DVLA website just to see what there is, normally the price puts me off, anyway when thinking of buying an 03 reg vRS this year thought I'd see what I could come up with, best I could do that are still available were:-

MY02 VRS & MY03 VRS, both at

V20 ORS - it reads V200 RS ( V max 200 RS - geddit?)

or Valve 20 Octavia RS - looks cooler than a cool thing on the car.

Anyway the plate is available for

I seem to remember posting about this back on the old Vortex forums. I was tempted to get "RS52 OCT", but at 500 notes, it was more than I could afford if I wanted to insure the car too :D

I'm waiting to see my first "his 'n hers" identical plates on some geezers driveway ....

For example "RS 52 OCT" and the old style "R552 OCT" cobbled accordingly.

My favourtie, on a Scooby, was "H50 OHW" ... when viewed in the rear view mirror spelt "WHOOSH" ....

I think Horners in Manchester have this reg! I'll check again tomorrow

when I go to pick up my car :D

I tried to get SKO2 ARS (SKODA RS) but DVLA wouldn't supply it. I think because of the ARS* connection.

On a more serious note , I noticed on the Northern meet that John Stopani had a very appropriate plate on his car

Pete,

You've got to coordinate. If you buy a VRS you must have the matching coat and registration. :thumb:

Sorry Jon mate!

Des ,

You must be working on the registration then , because I read that you have the fleece jacket , you can't have one without the other :D

How the hell do you know about that!

Moderator's note: Edit your post and see. DGW.

I've got R5 MOB on mine (using a 5 that resembles an S) - MOB being my initials

My fine feathered friend wearing a fleece?! Conflicting signals or what, unless of course it was Rhode Island Red coloured.

Yes my plate does end in VRS, however its a coincidence that my wife's initials are VRS, which means now the plates on an Octavia vRS I can change the wife without having to change the car

Only joking I wouldn't change the car
