My wife is leaving Mercedes after 5 years, this leaves us with no cars! I'm spoilt as I've been driving multiple Mercedes for the past five years, now we're moving on and we both decided on a Skoda for our respective cars. This decision was based on a combination of brilliant reviews, aesthetics, practical needs, and cost (ultimately, for me, it was the What Car reviews).

I've chosen to get a new Citigo colour edition, 60 Bhp, in red and white, whilst the wife has chosen the colour edition of the Fabia (Green and Black) 1.2. Both look great, in my opinion, and the test drives were good too.

Looking to get some tips, help and advice as we move over to our new cars in the next few months. If I can share any tips of my own, I will, but as I'm fairly useless in terms of car knowledge I will be reliant upon you all and the internet to help.

Oddly excited to get behind the wheel of the citigo, all the reviews online and feedback on this forum have me wondering how good this little car can be. We've currently got a Smart forfour and it's scary to drive in the wind as well as around bends as it just feels like it will roll over.
