I've been trying to find advice, but get mixed reviews for friends/family so thought I'd ask on here instead.

I'm hoping to buy a 2006 Skoda Octavia VRS, petrol with 173000 miles on the clock, it has full service history along with cam belt and water pump change less than 16000 miles ago, flew through its last 2 MOT's with no advisory's, the guy is asking for 2k which I think sounds reasonable, is there anything I should be aware of? Should I keep away from it, or are they known to keep going etc? Any advice about anything related would be greatly appreciated.

As this is asking about a used octavia, I'll move it to the octavia section. More owners in there with experience of this specific model, versus it being a brand new car.
