Removing Top Part of Boot Lid Trim

Featured Replies

I got my reversing camera installed yesterday, and to finish off the work need to hook into the rear washer piping so that it can wash the camera as well.

Now I did try to just pull the top part of the boot lid trim off my combi, but it really didn't want to come off. Admittedly it was a rather cold day, so that wouldn't have helped.

Is there a knack to taking this bit off?

Worked it out. There is a plug at the end of each arm of the top trim, where the centre needs to be pushed out and that allows the trim to pull out wit the plugs

Now I have these rattling around inside my boot lid.

True but I needed the camera washer in, otherwise at the moment I get the soft focus look from the camera with all the salt around.
