HI Everybody.

I have just driven my used Octavia Diesel back from the Dealers. I drove a Vectra for 8 years so time for a change!!

Great drive and just reset the time and the radio presets. DAB what a luxury in a car.

The Bluetooth pairing was a doddle and hopefully will allow some hands free!!

I do want a- not expensive- tyre rim (17" and how do I check this) to put a spare tyre on.

This is vital for me as car will be used for towing caravan.

Just dont want to be stuck miles from anywhere without a working spare.

Not sure about the glue and compressor method of reinflating  damaged tyre.!!

Hi Steve, welcome to the forum.  The proper spare makes sense alright.  The can of gunk is not exactly inspiring when you're stuck at the side of the road!
