My new Sportline monitors the tyre pressure. I don't know how it's done, but does that mean that I would have to buy a certain type of wheel that allows for that monitoring? Or, can I buy any wheel that fits a Superb and still have the monitoring? What I have in mind is buying 17" rims to mount winter tyres. Thanks!

The TPMS is with the car using the ESP / ABS sensors, there is nothing in or on the wheels.

Thanks for that! The newest car I've owned before this is a 2008 model. It's like a new world. The Sportline is like a computer on four wheels. Such a learning curve!
