i doubt he'll be upsetting the ST and VXR boys as they are both cheaper and if the new vRS drives like the mk5 GTi then they will be having more fun and going faster too.

when he passes the VXR in a hedge,the ST on the back of a recovery truck from a joyride and the Golf GTI outside Ocean Finance to buy a trailer to put luggage in:P

For the deal I got on this car, I very much doubt I could've got either the ST or VXR (even if I wanted one, and I don't!) for less. As for the performance criteria, I think I will be looking at both the ST and VXR in the rear view mirror with the plans I've got for the new VRS (nothing a little re-map can't fix) .

you can get an ST3 (full leather electric recaro's, esp, TC, abs, xenon's etc etc) for about 16k from a car supermarket and they are 225bhp to start with and by spending 1k on a new exhaust and remap they go upto about 275bhp
