No spare tyre/wheel

Featured Replies

When I bought my car it didn't come with a spare tyre, where is best to buy 1 and how much am I looking at?

Thanks

I bought a full size 18 inch wheel and tyre for my vrs.

Fits in the wheel well.ebay is a good place to buy

Or a dealer can provide. I bought wheel new from a dealer because I couldn't guarantee a second hand wheel wouldn't have been subject to some damage. Like tubbytommy I got a full size 18" for the vRS - didn't fancy being stuck on a French motorway with only a space saver.

when i got mine, i didnt like the sealant it came with, so i changed. had to use a couple of different sellers on e-bay and gumtree, (breakers) but got a brand new full size steel wheel with new pirelli tyre, and the correct boot wheel tray with all tools. came to less than £80.

how much are we talking to buy from skoda compared to buying from ebay (I would prefer to pay a little extra and get it right)? I feel it is definitely worth buying a spare seeing as I haven't got 1

Had the same issue last week

went to a scrappy bought an alloy rim

then got a new tyre put on it

total-£70
