Brake Clunk

Featured Replies

2016 1.2 tsi manual - When I apply the brakes after reversing I get clunk from the front of the car. I see from the Fabia forum that this is probably the brake pads moving and not a problem. Can other Yeti owners confirm this?

We have two Yeti's, one does it and the other doesn't.

Dealer can't find anything wrong.

I have not experienced this on my Yeti, but I have on previous VW and Volvos. Sounds to me like like the Fabia forum comment is on the money.

I have this.

Not so much on a brand new one but definitely common on 'second hand' cars after original ones have been replaced.......all brands

My 1.2 tsi has done this since new.The garage confirmed the behaviour as normal....still does it 18months later, so nothing to worry about.
