Hello from a newbie

Hello everyone

Just wanted to drop a little introduction, I'm actually a 2 time Superb owner having just said a tearful goodbye to my company car of the last 2 years, a MkII Superb Estate Elegance 170 DSG. Its has been simply the best car I have ever owned, eminently practicality, huge carrying capacity, comfortable, reliable and a joy to drive, a superb car!

However its not all bad news, as I have now just taken delivery of my new company car, a MKIII Superb Estate L&K 150 DSG, in Business Grey with Beige Interior. Due to a hectic work schedule I did not get a chance to test drive before ordering, but given how good the MkII was I was sure that its replacement would be an improvement.

My first impressions are, WOW, I'm loving it so far, the ride is sublime, the level of comfort from the L&K spec is top notch, I'm looking forward to the next 3 years with this lady!

Welcome!  Glad you're enjoying it.  Do you find that its a big step up from the MKII.  I know I was surprised how much of a difference there was

Indeed, the difference is quite remarkable. I'm not sure how much of that is down the the adaptive suspension on the L&K, or just generally down to the switch to the MBQ platform. Either way, its a remarkable upgrade.

I don't have the adaptive and it's still much improved.  I think you're right about the MQB platform as that certainly has contributed
