Firstly, apologies if this is in the wrong section.

 

I need help/advice on getting the correct indicator loom adaptor. I've tried to replace my o/s indicator light (puddle light version) on my 2007 l/k Octavia only to find that the wiring is different to allow any connections to fit. The indicator in the top of the attached image is the old one with the new one below with wiring that doesn't fit the connector pictured.

 

Ive found an adaptor online (see link) but it doesn't appear to fit the current connector to adapt into the new fitting on the indicator I've bought as a replacement. http://www.skodaparts.com/product/octavia-indicator-wiring-loom-2004-2008-31991

 

Im hopeful that someone can help point me in the right direction!

I don't think it is, the white end needs a male connection with the black plastic end a female type connection. Has anyone had this issue before when changing indicators of from the same year etc?

I'm 100% sure this is correct 1Z0949101CC is for indicators w/out flood light and 1z0949101DD with. There is no other option.

I am in need of exactly that mirror indicator that you did not want (the bottom newer cleaner one in the picture below with the white connector)

Where did you get it from? Do you still have it?

I have the same problem only the other way round .....it appears the new one you bought was what I needed but the old version and the one you had was the new version which is sold everywhere now .....I am having to buy a wire adaptor to make my old wiring fit the new style led unit ☹️☹️
