Hi all, please be gentle with me as I'm new here  I'm a first time Skoda owner. Had most other makes of car's before. I can say with certainty that I wanted a Skoda after my golf had seen its serviceable life come to an end. 

I commute near on 40 miles each way to and from work daily, so it had to be a diesel but I had a hankering for an auto.

 

So when the engine siezed up on the golf, I had to act fast, luckily my local dealer had a 10 month old 1.6 TDI DSG SE L estate in stock, black metallic and after a short test drive I was sold 

 

I'm looking forward to learning more about my great new car. I'm more than impressed with it so far.

Welcome to the forum, I think you made a good choice there and you won't go to far wrong with an Octavia!
