Service warning

Featured Replies

Is it possible to change the time that you the warning that a service is due. 4000 miles is a bit too far in advance for me I'd rather it was 2000.

In a word no. It's determined by the ECU and oil quality sensor in the sump.

Nothing to stop you booking it in for a service when you want not when the car says it wants one

I think what John was asking, is it is possible to prevent the "service in 4000km" message from popping up until closer to the event (e.g. 2000km to service)

If you dont drive many miles, it can take a long time to do 4000km & you are given all the time a warning that a service is due in xx kms.

John, unfortunately I don't think its possible to prevent this or reduce the Advanced warning distance.

For the time warning I think this is set to 30 days which seems good.

You can adjust it but you'll need vcds
