OK, so Iv'e only had it a day but manged to rack up nearly two hundred miles (most enjoyable too!) but there are one or two niggles. :(

The first is the centre part of the dash which angles slightly towards the passenger seat and no doubt afflicts other models in the Octavia range (I realise that this is due to the car being manufactured to continental specifications, but annoying none the less!) . The second is a 'boominess' coming from the boot area, whether this is wind/tyre generated or inherrent with the sports exhaust system I dont know, but it is noticable at 60-70mph. Other than that I am pleased to report that EVERYTHING else is absolutely spot on! . Here are a few more piccy's taken today at The Armouries on Portsdown Hill near Portsmouth.

Nope, I know gazzer04 has one and someone else got one before me. Quite a few have got one on order though so I'm 'milking' it for all it's worth at the moment :P .

Hi Yes I have had mine 3 weeks on Saturday.

1800 miles so far really enjoying it.

It's a bit tricky to get off the line though in these conditions hope it's better in the summer.

Talked to REVO yesterday about a ecu up-grade but they have not finished it yet for this engine hope to have done so in about 4 weeks, will keep you posted.

Had no choice really, took the car they in stock as my patience and nails couldn't take the wait!!. 18" Alloys, although they don't fill out the wheel arches like you'd expect.

Why what happened ?

Mine was due to be built ww7 and then a week of 2 to come over, then last week it was ww8 built then a week or 2 to come ie 1st or 2nd week of March but I haven't asked this week.

Is there a particular problem with yours ?

Apparantly delays are due to the sheer number of cars being ordered in race blue,

my car was originaly build week 3 - we are now build week 6 and it has not gone into build yet.

Although the dealer has said 3rd week of March at latest, and could be before - he will only know for definate when it is notified as arriving at port of exit -- once that happens its 10 working days to the dealership.

They did warn me from the start that they could not be accurate with dates, especially as my car has so many options to be fitted.

As long as it arrives before the end of March - the tax runs out on the golf at the end of March and I certainly dont want to tax it
