Popped into the dealers on my way home from work last night, just to confirm collection day/time and what docs I'll need, etc.  The dealer asked if I'd like to see my car; which I really wasn't expecting as I thought it would be in their compound a few miles away. 

 

It was tucked in the compound at the rear of the dealership and looking a bit tatty as it hadn't been prep'd yet but I was pleased to see it in this state as I could see there were no transit scratches or dents and everything seemed in order.  Even looking a bit dirty and with protective stickers it looked bloody lovely.  Really pleased with my colour choice (Business Grey).  I Got to look inside which gave me chance to check my chosen options were all fitted, it even had the reg plates bolted on.  

 

This is the first time I've ever done a factory order for a car and I'm like a big daft kid with excitement; 9 days to go and I can't wait!!!

The countdown begins!

My car has just gone into production so I am on the opposite end of the wait... 6 weeks to go i'm told all being well

At what point did you get an estimated build week etc..? I made some changes to mine on Monday (added Nav and TSR) as the order was still not 'frozen'. I assume they freeze it and then assign a build week.

I received an estimated build date quite early on which was week 8. I reckon about 3-4 weeks ago bow at this stage.

I guess about 2-3 weeks after placing order then? The worst part about a new car, the wait... and I still have probably 10 weeks to go

Yes now that I think of it I reckon we got our cars build date after 3 weeks or so from ordering. So exciting first time I've ever ordered a new momo

Ordered mine 12th of December .2 weeks later got a build week 4 .Collecting this Friday .2 days cant wait .  

Don´t worry, I ordered my car on 10th of September 2015 and received the car in february 2016 :).
