The list of fixes after 135000kms in five years on my yeti ... still love it just

Ive owned my 118TSI MY2012 Skoda Yeti since new.  I really love driving it and its probably the best car Ive owned. 

Thought id list everything ive replaced and a few parts have failed.

Ive serviced it religiously on time every 12-15000kms hope to get another 100000kms out of it.

Im not a really speedy driver(never redlined it)  but love driving through the corners on the mountain roads where I live.  The car handles beautifully

Bits that have broken or  replaced:

two sets tyres.

Two sets windscreen wipers.

one rear brake pad holder... just a small bit of cheap wire... brake pads still havent been replaced holding up which is amazing.

One broken windscreen.

Worn out drivers side floor mat.

Rear skoda badge replaced under warranty when it fell off

Replaced a couple of rear luggage hooks that I lost.

The biggie is that the timing chain failed at 125000kms ... lucky I went to mechanic as soon as check engine light came on!

Skoda Australia only offered a partial refund on the 3000 dollar cost of repair.... this was disappointing seeing it failed shortly after the warranty lapsed.  Timing Chain is supposedly a life of car part. 

Hope it lasts to 250000kms!
