Citigo goes Ping!

Featured Replies

Hi all. Wonder if anyone can help with this one please?

I had my Citigo(2013 SE ,RED with summer pack)MOT'ed last week and was pleased to  get a full clean ticket.

Only thing is since then every time I switch on, the REAR Seat belt warning "checker" Pings once and the little symbol showing belts stays on for about 30 seconds then all is normal!

Does this with belts undone or done up. Any ideas please?

I'd take it back to who did the MOT if it didn't do it before! Never had this issue before, can't even think how this could have even happened, have you got someone who can sit in the car in the rear and click it into place before setting off and seeing if that still causes an issue?

For an MOT he has to check the seatbelt anchorages. Lift up the rear seat squabs and see if he has managed to twist or snag a seat belt. Also check nothing has fallen under the seat to press on the sensor and cause it to illuminate.

Otherwise, its back to the MOT place to fix.
