I spotted a burnt out C class this morning but very much doubt it was related to this issue. :sadsmile:

Wonder how much co2 and nox is emitted during a vehicle fire..

Though the recall was on AMG's models burning too much rubber.

MB cars are now even hotter!!

Very surprised that the USA authorities haven't found another way of making big bucks out of another European / German company .

Of course USA are squeaky clean as far as we know.( Sorry another subject)

My FIL would gladly have burned his rustbucket Merc W210 E-class if he thought he'd get away with it.  

His W211 is much better, but after that was stolen for a bit of beach racing he wishes that had been burned out too, rather than returned to him as stolen/recovered.
