This is my second join, I cannot remember the old details and I think the email I used is no longer in use!

I have just bought my second Octavia, having had my old one (19.TDi 90, estate Ambiente) 8 years (and 1 gearbox, and clutch and flywheel later), I now have a 61 plate estate with the 1.6 CR 105 TDi.  It is a far nicer place to be!

Welcome back, the CR engine is a far more refined unit alright 

Definately is, the whole car feels much better, though I am still getting used to it. I did a 4 hour trip a few weeks back and was slightly disappointed with the mpg, only just scraped into the 50s, where as my old one would have been round the 60mpg mark. The old one even managed 65mpg towing a trailer last year!
