Hard to pull door handles

Featured Replies

Going through a list of things to get sorted on my car now the gearbox is fixed, this is my next job

Almost everyone who is a passenger in my car seems to have difficultly opening the doors from both the inside and out on the front and rear doors.

I'm used to opening them so cant really see the problem but they are quite stiff and I wondered if they can be greased to make them easier to open

The rear inside handles are the worst as they do need a good pull. Ive sprayed the locks with spray grease but i think its possibly more internal maybe the cables

Anyone have any suggestions?

Perhaps you should try greasing the handle insides, or at least the parts that are easily available to spray with grease.

Your guess with the cables might be quite correct - had the same problem with door handles in Hyundai Getz. Shortening the cables by just half a centimetre solved the issue.
