Hello some advice required please. I am looking to replace the shocks and springs on my mk1 vRS and would like to fit the original items. What did skoda fit at the factory?

Also what tyres were fitted as new?

I cannot answer the shocks and springs question, but I can help on factory fitted tyres.

Our 2005 Fabia vRS came with Bridgestone ER30 tyres from the factory. Our 2007 Fabia vRS came with the newer version at the time, Bridgestone ER300 tyres. I have seen some in showrooms fitted with Continental Contisport 2's and one with Michelin PS3's ( I think).

It depends on the best deal Skoda got at the time I think.

 

I believe the original shocks were Sachs, springs you'd have to get from the stealer though, no idea why you'd want original springs when you can have better quality Eibach replacements for half the price.
