Idiots Guide to MyDestinations

Featured Replies

Does anyone know how the MyDestinations website actually works please? I'm searching for postcodes to make a POI lsit and nothing, absolutely nothing.  They have the nerve to put a "feeling lost" link on the page that tells you nothing too!

I just tried it, searched and saved a local cinema to Mydestinations. I'm not sure what else it will do for me though.

Its a pile of dung, you can export your list and then it forgets everything, sadly you cannot import back in what you exported, what dumbass dreamt this up? Simply Clever? Simply dip**** more like!

Export the list to your PC or to your SD card and copy that back to your PC as Vcard then import them from the SD card to your nav unit. You can then add new destinations using My Destinations to update your destination file and delete any you no longer need.

When you re-import your destinations it will only add any new ones (Well that's what mine does anyway)

I agree it is not very intuitive, but if you've tried to read the handbook/manual you'll know that already!

Takes a bit of understanding and patience but does work, swearing at it also gives satisfaction.
