If you try and configure a new Octavia vrs there's 4 options - manual petrol, dsg petrol, dsg diesel, dsg diesel 4x4

 

Is this a blip?! Where's the manual diesel?

Im 99% certain it was there a few weeks ago. Odd. 

No it isn't available currently.

 

i know because I placed an order for one on launch day (1st March) only to get a phone call from the dealer a few days ago to say the manual diesel isn't open for order yet and they didn't realise. 

 

Apprently it will be another 2 months or so until they can be ordered so you're looking at around 5 months until you can have one. Currently trying to see what I can get from the dealer as I wouldn't have ordered if I had known there was this extra delay.
