Is there anyone with a VCDS in the Croydon area that can help me modify the Maxdot km/h to mph reading, please?

You might be better off asking this question on the VCDS forum.  The procedure to get the Maxidot to display mph has been discussed a number of times on this (ie Yeti Mk1) forum: a search should turn it up if you don't have it to hand.

Thanks. Although, helpfully, it was on this forum that I discovered what a VCDS is and the fact that it could work magic – it's not a discussion I'm after; it's a magician.

If you don't find anyone closer then I'm around an hour away in Folkestone
