Colour coded bumper mouldings

Featured Replies

Hi all!

I have been searching the forums but cannot find what i'm looking for, and i don't know if it's actually been done.

I would like to see a photo (or even a photoshop) of the bumper mouldings (aka the moustache) colour coded to match the bumper on a facelift standard fabia front bumper (ie not VRS)

Has anyone ever come across this? I have seen a few pics where someone had removed the mouldings and then smoothed over the gaps, but i am talking about painting them to match the car

Interested to see if it looks any good

Cheers!

I also would like to see this!

Theres this from the octy forums

Thanks for the link clarendon. Its actually easier to see with mk5 golfs... plenty of adverts on autotrader with the mouldings both colour-coded and left black.

Anyway, i'm definitely going to give this a go in the next few weeks, but i can't believe that no one has tried it before!

I finally found a photo, by accident, looking for something else.

Its not quite perfect as the car is modified but it gives a good idea!

I really like those honeycomb grills! I take it they're custom made?

Not sure, it's not my car! But i agree it does look nice

Coded bump strips first for me though :-)
