Which manual does that come from, ie for what vehicle and from what year?

Is it TSI's?

Vehicles with Stop / Start.

Any manual for Octavia from 2013 onwards. Doesn't matter diesel or gasoline engine. Personally never really left the engine running for a while in such cases and no problems so far. Mine is 1.4 TSI

As the current owner of a 2003 Vectra with a 2.0t petrol SAAB powerplant I am in the habit of driving the last bit of any journey at at a moderate pace to allow things to cool. So far, 104,000miles and all well, so I guess when i replace the old girl (probably with a Skoda TSi engined vehicle) I'll just carry on doing that.
