18"x8" ET35 BBS Speedlines VRS MK2 will they fit?

Featured Replies

As title really, my mate is offering me these and I have searched and searched and some say they will fit and others not, I know the problem will be more front related but does anyone have a definitive answer? Stock suspension and I may go Eibachs later on.

Cheers

It's Ok they are ET45, perfect!

For the archaeologists who dig up this post in five years time

I have 19x8J ET35 on the vRS with Eibach Pro-Kit (-30mm) springs

They're what I'd call "aggressive", but they fit...

IMG_20170206_102345.jpgI saw your thread on these that right one looks like it has more negative camber?

Possibly, but it could also be the phone camera having a slight fisheye and the angles being a bit off

It's been to the alignment shop and they've set it up to Skoda specs on a Hunter system, so I'm happy enough with it :)

Plenty of room with those specs.

I ran 8.5x18 et25 originally then moved to 9/10j 19's et30/33

Just remember the lower the et the further out they'll sit. If unsure then enter the specs on Www.willtheyfit.com

Wow they must have poked out a bit,  I checked will they fit before and ET35 would have been over 20mm more poke so they would have been out of the arches a few mm, ET45 will be fine.

How did you mange to fit 9's with the ET that low?

The 9's on the front where fine, the rears gave me a tiny bit of bother but an arch roller cured that ;)

Just looked at your build thread, some work there, I think I'll stick with ET45 lol.

Haha. Long gone that has now. Seems to be doing the rounds on the social media sales page recently having changed hands a few times

Wheels fitted and then realised I lost a centre cap grrr, got new VRS badges coming so no biggie, they fit and fill the arches nicely but I now realise I need to lower it, it looks lower at the back as I had the old wheels in there, the front isn't as lifted as it looks, cack photos as my phone is poop, will get better ones when caps are fitted and it's polished but I quite like them.
